Environmental protection, quality and safety at work are integrated on an equal footing in our management system. In 1996 we introduced our quality management system as the foundations for our certification according to DIN EN ISA 9001:1994. In 2002 we received certification for our process oriented QM system according to DIN EN 9001: 2000.
These certifications mean we are able to ensure optimum organisation of our business processes and achieve a high level of employee motivation.
At the same time we can guarantee maximum product and service quality for our customers – from development, production and sales to services. We face up to our responsibilities towards our customers, our employees and the environment.
Beginning with the ideas, visions, values, company philosophy and the requirements on organisation and management, the directors at Format Tresorbau GmbH & Co KG laid down the cornerstone of a management system with our quality, environmental and safety policies.
We want satisfied customers. So our products and services must comply with the wishes of our customers regarding function, price, delivery times, quality and eco-friendliness. An important component is the comprehensive information and advice we offer our customers in the selection, application and, where necessary, disposal of our products.
We accept our responsibility for sustained development and use the best possible technologies – as far as is economically acceptable – with the aim of preserving natural resources while utilising them effectively. We want to reduce environmentally harmful emissions and keep wastewater and waste to a minimum in order to avoid a negative impact on the environment caused by waste accumulation by applying the corresponding preventative measures. We aim at continuous improvement of safety and environmental protection.
The collaboration of our suppliers in the creation of added value is a significant factor for the quality, safety and eco-friendliness of our products and processes. They are able to contribute their experience as product specialists and production partners. Service companies are also included in our efforts to increase quality, safety and eco-friendliness. For example, we stipulate that contractual partners working on our premises must comply with the same rules and regulations as ourselves.
Company goals are defined according to performance figures and are made available to all staff. These company goals are applied as departmental goals by the relevant managers in their departments, in particular measurable aims such as customer satisfaction, reduction of quality costs, CIP implementation. The measurability of all predefined goals is the prerequisite for an objective evaluation of the success of the company which allows us to introduce appropriate improvements based on this evaluation.
